No wiring, no tools, no install crew. Put a keypad lock on the door, set the matching code in the app, and stick up the sign. Most operators are taking payments in about ten minutes.
The Yedi sign turns any restroom into a paid one without a single wire. Here's the whole model before we get into the steps.
Any four-digit keypad or combination lock on the restroom door. Yours to pick — you probably already have one.
You set a code in the app that matches your lock. Rotate it whenever you want, watch usage, log cleaning checks.
Customers scan the QR, pay on their own phone, and get the current code. No app, no account, nothing to install.
Do them in order the first time. After that, you'll only ever come back to step 3 to rotate a code.
This is where you run everything — your access code, your usage, your cleaning checks. It's for you and your team; your customers never download a thing.
The Yedi sign works with any four-digit keypad or combination lock. Already have one on the door? Use it. Don't? A basic keypad deadbolt from a hardware store is all you need — no wiring, no smart lock required.
Open your restroom in the app and set a four-digit code. Then set your physical keypad lock to that exact same code. That's the whole trick — the app hands out the code your lock expects.
Peel and place it at eye level, right by the restroom door. The QR code on the sign is what customers scan — that's the entire customer experience, no app, no account.
Scan your own sign with your phone, pay the small access fee, and you'll be shown the current code. Punch it into the keypad. If the door opens, you're done — you're taking payments.
The app hands your customers whatever code you've set. If that doesn't match the code on your physical keypad, the door won't open. Any time you rotate the code in the app, set the keypad to match — and vice versa.
Paying customers, regulars, staff — anyone you'd rather not charge can just get the current code from your front desk. Add a line to your sign (“Already a customer? Ask the front desk”) right in the app when you design it.
Whichever you chose — the sign or the lock — you manage it all from the Yedi Partner app: set and rotate access codes, watch usage, and log cleaning checks.
Your customers never download a thing. The app is for you and your team — grab it before your Yedi arrives so you're live the moment it does.
Any four-digit keypad or combination lock. A basic keypad deadbolt from a hardware store works perfectly. It doesn't need to be smart or connected — the sign and app handle everything digital.
No. They scan the sign with their phone camera, pay on a web page, and see the code. That's it — no app, no account, no sign-up.
Open your restroom in the Yedi app, set a new four-digit code, and reset your keypad lock to match. New scans immediately hand out the new code. Rotate it as often as you like.
Right on their phone, on the page the sign links to. The access fee lands in your account — you set the price in the app.
